This policy explains what information Her Field Journal collects through herfieldjournal.com and learn.herfieldjournal.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Her Field Journal is operated by Tionna Honaker in Montana.
We don't sell your personal information.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name and email when you join the newsletter, download a freebie, or buy a course
- Your billing details when you buy. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you paid, along with your name, email, and limited billing details, but never your full card number.
- Messages you send us and comments you post in a course
Information collected automatically
- Course activity, such as which lessons you've completed, so the portal can track your progress
- Whether you open or click our emails, so we can keep sending things people find useful
- Basic device and usage information, such as browser type, pages visited, and the site that sent you here
- Cookies and similar tools, described below
How we use it
- To deliver what you bought, including sending your login link and course emails
- To send the newsletter or freebies you asked for
- To answer your questions and fix access problems
- To understand which pages, posts, and ads are working, so we can improve them
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
Marketing emails need your permission. At checkout, marketing emails are optional and the box starts unchecked. Emails about something you bought, like your login link, are sent either way. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

We use cookies and a Pinterest tag to understand how visitors use the site and to measure whether our Pinterest ads lead to visits or purchases. Pinterest may use this to show you relevant ads. Affiliate links may set cookies with the retailer so we can be credited for a sale.
Your choices:
- Adjust cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies won't stop you from buying or taking a course.
- Turn off ad personalization in your Pinterest account settings.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter information: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it
- Purchase records: as long as needed for tax and accounting, generally seven years
- Course progress: while your course access is active
Keeping it safe
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, and limited account access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care with what you trust us with.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you
- Correct it
- Delete it, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons
- Stop sending marketing emails

Children
This site and our courses are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared information with us, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we update this policy, the effective date at the top will change. For significant changes, we'll let customers know by email.
